軋機上使金屬產生連續塑性變形的主要工作部件和工具。軋輥主要由輥身、輥頸和軸頭3部分組成。

輥身是實際參與軋制金屬的軋輥中間部分。它具有光滑的圓柱形或帶軋槽的表面。輥頸安裝在軸承中，并通過軸承座和壓下裝置把軋制力傳給機架。

The roller body is the middle part of the roll that actually takes part in rolling the metal. It has a smooth cylinder or a surface with a groove. The roller neck is installed in the bearing and passes the rolling force to the rack through the bearing seat and the press down device. .

軋輥是軋機的核心部件，軋輥的使用涉及軋機使用時的類型選擇、軋輥的準備、在軋制過程中的維修和周期性修整，而這些都全是影響軋機生產率、產品質量和生產經濟性的因素。

Roll is the core part of the rolling mill. The use of the roll involves the type selection of the rolling mill, the preparation of the roll, the maintenance and the periodic dressing during the rolling process, all of which are all factors that affect the productivity of the rolling mill, the quality of the product and the production economy.

整體軋輥是相對于復合軋輥而言的，整體軋輥的輥身外層與心部以及輥頸采用單一材質鑄造或鍛造而成，輥身外層和輥頸不同的組織、性能通過鑄造或鍛造工藝以及熱處理工藝過程來控制和調整。

The whole roll is compared to the  roll. The outer layer of the whole roll is made of a single material or forging with a single material. The structure and performance of the roll are  and adjusted by the casting or forging process and the heat treatment process.

被軋制的鋼種  

被軋制的鋼種是選擇軋輥的關鍵因素，其抗變形能力隨坯料化學成分不同而改變，主要表現在軋制的各階段變形的負荷大小和變化。必須根據確定的強度和硬度選擇軋輥。  

Rolled steel

The rolled steel is the key factor to select the roll. Its deformation resistance varies with the chemical  of the billet. It is mainly manifested in the load and change of deformation in each rolling stage. The roll must be selected according to the determined strength and hardness.
